That’s a good thing, right?

Well, yes and no. We’re all grateful that last year’s steep, sudden recession has been almost ameliorated and that the construction is set, once again, to boom. However, boom times create challenges of SUCCESS. Success breeds problems which are very different from the challenges of recession or decline, but they’re challenges nonetheless – in particular when it comes to business succession planning.

Please tune in this week as Wayne advises to watch out for the three dangers of boom times as they relate to your succession plans – make sure you have a strategy and stick to it! We’d love to hear your feedback in the comments section.

  1. Hello Wayne,

I would be interested in receiving boot camp info also.

    • Sure, Jorge. I’ll have Charlotte send the info asap. Thank you.

  2. Wayne,
It’s like I was supposed to hear you message this morning. I’m the sole owner selling 60% to venture capital group that they structured, 11.5 % to key employees and 28.5% I’m holding for future leaders and to keep a key negotiator in the mix that l and the buyers like a lot. That part has just evolved during the purchase. Our closing is in the next 30 days max. Before I could send any of my 4 company leaders would need more information about your curriculum. I’m a little concerned about complete privacy. Unknown to you a head hunter could participate or get access to who is there. We could be recruiting while our people were there. Just need a better understanding of how to prevent that situation. But I do like the sound of your thinking.

    • I’ll ask Charlotte to send you the Boot Camp materials, Bobby. THANKS!
