Thanks Wayne. There’s an enormous amount of practical experience and wisdom in this brief video. 2 suggestions:
1. Developing meeting Ground Rules and a Code of Conduct for Meetings with the family can help to make structure and discipline more effective.
2. If ancient tensions keep surfacing I prefer to take them offline with the relevant parties into a mediation/therapy session so they can be buried through acknowledgement/apology, or whatever. Done well, this does provide closure, rather than reinforce frustration and resentment.
Keep up the good work. This video should be compulsory viewing for every business family!
